The data controller is Duckino, contact: info@duckino.com. Dropling is designed to collect as little about you as possible. We use no ads, no third-party tracking, and no user accounts on our servers. Dropling runs on iPhone, Apple Watch and Android phones; where the platforms differ, we say so.
Lessons, questions, answer history and learning progress are stored on your device. We have no access to this data. The one exception is a lesson you share as a link yourself (section 3).
The app sends our server only the technical data it needs for AI lessons, subscriptions and abuse protection: a device identifier, the topic of a lesson you have AI generate, and for subscribers the proof of purchase from Apple or Google. We do not need your name, email or payment details for any of this.
To generate the content, the lesson topic is processed by AI providers we have chosen. Our server and the services we use to run it are based in the EU or the USA. We send the AI providers no identifiers of your device or person.
When you share a lesson yourself, a copy of it (title, questions and answers) is stored on our server. Anyone who has the link can view and save it, so do not share lessons with sensitive or personal content. Answer history and learning progress are never shared.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), depending on where you buy them. We have no access to your payment details.
When the app or our server hits an error, a technical report is sent that describes the error, the device and the app version. We send no personal data and no lesson content with it.
Technical data is kept for the lifetime of the service, as it enforces usage limits (free AI lessons, monthly subscription limit). The server deletes the topic of a generated lesson after a short time.
Shared lessons are kept until we delete them at your request, so that a link you sent to someone keeps working. To have a specific link deleted, write to info@duckino.com and include the code from the link.
Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure and other rights. Our servers hold only technical data that does not identify you by name. You can delete most data yourself by removing the app and its data from iCloud or from your Google account backup. For anything else, contact info@duckino.com.
